
The National Association of Percussion Teachers (N.A.P.T.) exists to promote and encourage the continual improvement and attainment of the highest standards of percussion teaching in Great Britain, and to enable the sharing of ideas and information between those who seek knowledge in the furtherance of percussion teaching and performing.
The NAPT was established in 1984 by a group of like-minded percussion teachers, to encourage and support the highest standards of percussion teaching.
Membership is open to all professional players and teachers of percussion instruments, regardless of their specialism which may range from Drum Kit to Marimba, Timpani to Tabla, to name but a few…
Members include those working in private practice, in schools, for LEA music services, at specialist music schools, at music colleges and conservatoires, and corporate organisations in the music industry.
