The National Association of Percussion Teachers


The National Association of Percussion Teachers (N.A.P.T.) exists to promote and encourage the continual improvement and attainment of the highest standards of percussion teaching in Great Britain, and to enable the sharing of ideas and information between those who seek knowledge in the furtherance of percussion teaching and performing.

NAPT Membership

Membership is open to all teachers and professional players of percussion instruments, regardless of their specialism which may range from Drum Kit to Marimba, Timpani to Tabla, to name but a few…

Members include those working in LEA music services, in independent schools, in private practice, at specialist music schools, and at music colleges and conservatoires.

Corporate membership is available to companies, institutions and other organisations and includes free advertising in the NAPT Newsletter.
